Zimmer

Hi, my name is Morah Jill Lavitsky, and I love leading the weekly Shabbat/holiday program and volunteering at Zimmer School. 

 

My family and I have been attending services and events at Chabad of Basking Ridge for more than twenty years.  When I retired from my long career at Johnson & Johnson, I decided that a wonderful way to spend some of my available time was to volunteer at Zimmer and Chabad, my second home. I am honored to work with your children, and it brings me great joy to share my love of our traditions with them.

 

I studied Economics, English, and Business in my undergraduate and graduate studies and while I was in college, I taught Hebrew School for K-6 for four years. My husband and I are the proud parents of two grown sons, Yonatan and Aaron. My hobbies include traveling, reading, cooking, volunteering in my community, and spending time with my family and friends.
